You are Christ-like and have a heart and mind like Jesus! You’re ONE in the Spirit of love with Jesus & Father God whom Jesus spoke of in the scriptures (that means Holy!) You likely enjoy bestowing random acts of kindness, compassionately helping those in need, and/or making the world a better place for others because it feels like the right thing to do in life. WooHoo!
Whether knowing all of this is a cool thing for you right now or not, please know that Jesus is always on your side and is there to lend you a hand in life should you ever decide to ask him for anything. And no, I’m not writing this on behalf of “Christianity: The Religion”, this truth comes only from the wisdom of direct real-life experience of faith and freedom of Christ beyond the boundaries of any one doctrine or dogma.
Even if you loathe all things “religious,” or if you identify with a different faith tradition, or are “spiritual but not religious,” or if you’re an agnostic, even if you’re an atheist (with a curious or questioning mind)—all are welcomed by Jesus to call upon him.
There’s no harm in giving it a try just to see what may happen if Jesus responds in some way and answers the request (it’s guaranteed to inspire “awe” and “amazement” and feelings of great joy).
(Helpful Tip: If you are reaching out to Jesus for the first-time, you can do so however you are comfortable, whether it is in informal conversation, formal prayer or somewhere in between. With expectation and an open mind and open heart, as long as you believe in the possibility (no matter how slim of a chance) that yes, somehow and some way you’ll receive a response, you will. If you do not believe you’ll receive a response, you won’t. The key is in whatever it is you truly believe is possible (for scientific minds: this is through the universal law of cause and effect: Ask, and receive, for this was even one of his teachings).
When Jesus answers, best case outcomes include: miracles, healings, blessings, protection, wisdom and understanding, gifts of all kinds, and transformations/new life/new beginnings that are even better than your past life/lives), among so much more goodness and love. It’s definitely worth it if this resonates with you. (PS, the Christians who find themselves here likely already know this to be true for their own lives). ❤️
